Job description
We’re currently recruiting for a Technical Executive to join a leading organisation within the UK marine sector. In this position, you’ll support the wider technical function by monitoring UK and international regulatory changes, analysing standards, and preparing clear, accessible guidance for industry stakeholders. You’ll contribute to technical reports, updates and briefing materials, support online technical resources, and assist with events such as workshops, seminars and industry meetings.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor UK and international regulatory developments affecting the leisure marine sector and summarise relevant technical standards and policy changes.
- Prepare technical guidance, briefing notes, reports and updates, including contributions to quarterly technical publications and online resources.
- Support member associations by responding to technical enquiries, offering practical compliance advice, and assisting with webinars, workshops and briefings.
- Provide technical and administrative support to industry committees and working groups, including preparing agendas, meeting documents, summaries and minutes.
- Conduct research into emerging technologies, regulatory trends and sector developments, maintaining accurate internal records and technical materials.
- Assist with organising technical seminars, conferences and member events, and represent the organisation at industry meetings when required.
- Work closely with policy, training, communications and membership teams to ensure technical information is shared accurately and effectively.
