Painter/Sprayer/ Prepper

Prepare surfaces and apply paint/coatings to components and assemblies in the boatbuilding process and Lifeboat repair. Ensure tasks are performed professionally within ILC/ALC.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare surfaces (hand and abrasive blasting) and apply various paint finishes on Lifeboat substrates and assemblies.
  2. Assess and repair surface finishes to restore coatings.
  3. Use diverse paint schemes, coatings, and application methods.
  4. Identify and set up tools, materials, and equipment for tasks.
  5. Ensure compliance with job delivery standards.
  6. Safely move marine vessels and components using correct lifting equipment and methods.
  7. Utilize engineering drawings, data, and documentation accurately.
  8. Promote and practice good occupational health, safety, and environmental behaviors.
  9. Meet safety, quality, production, cost, and people targets.
  10. Apply continuous improvement (Lean) tools and techniques.
  11. Be available for emergency stand-by duties outside regular hours, including weekends and holidays.
  12. Participate in additional ad hoc tasks as needed.
  13. Participate in sea trials.
  14. Deliver boats to and from the coast.

Will be interested to speak to anyone with Fairer/Prepper experince from Marine or Aerospace industry.

Must work under either Limited or Umbrella (No sole Trader)
