Job description
We’re supporting a well-established marine group in the search for an experienced European Sales Manager. This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who can genuinely own key accounts, drive commercial growth across Europe, and deliver a seamless customer journey from concept through to delivery.
Working closely with the Sales Director, you’ll play a central role in shaping sales strategy, strengthening commercial performance, and building long-term partnerships with major European clients. In short: this is not a passenger role — you’re expected to steer.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and executing European sales strategies alongside the Sales Director
- Owning key accounts, including quoting, pricing structures and margin performance
- Leading structured account reviews and building long-term, trusted client relationships
- Supporting customers with product selection and technical integration using your marine expertise
- Coordinating internally across design, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and finance to keep projects moving
- Delivering clear communication and first-class customer service at every stage
- Identifying new opportunities and providing accurate sales forecasts
- Travelling across Europe as required (yes, sometimes last minute — welcome to sales)
- Leading confident, technical sales conversations in person and via video
- Staying calm under pressure and keeping a practical, solutions-led mindset
- Proven experience in OEM or technical B2B sales within the marine sector
- Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margins and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confidence handling technical discussions and commercially driven decisions
- Solid working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and CRM/internal systems
- A proactive, positive “let’s get this done properly” attitude
- French language skills are a strong advantage
