Marine Engineer

Marine Resources are currently recruiting for a number of Marine Engineers for a full time, permanent opportunity in Central London on the Thames.

My client provide marine engineering services to both private and  commercially owned vessels on the river Thames, London. They are currently seeking a Marine Engineer to support the Engineering department in maintaining Company Vessels across their two associated companies.

Main duties to include:

• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on marine engines, electrical systems, and other machinery.

• Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

• Work directly on vessel repair and refurbishment projects, both in dry dock and on the water.

• Operate diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot systems and perform necessary adjustments and repairs.

• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

• Record and maintain detailed logs of maintenance work and system performance issues.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of refit, maintenance and servicing projects on a variety of vessels on the Thames – no two jobs will be the same!
