A leading engineering consultancy require a Designer/Parametric Modeller to join their team.
Offering a host of high end and high performance services to the wider industry, the consultancy have evolved from their initial high profile project through to cover a range of exciting projects across various sides of the industry. With clients seeking faster, more economical or greener craft, they are experiencing increased interest and need to expand to cope with this demand.
The Designer role will hold the following key duties:
- Parametric modelling for rapid prototyping/variables testing
- Programming in Python for variables testing
- Basic hull/appendage design
- High quality surfacing for accurate modelling and production.
As an individual you will have worked at the peak of your industry, which will ideally be marine, however automotive and aerospace candidates will also be considered. You will be well versed in parametric modelling, ideally Siemens NX and also programming with Python for the creating of manipulable and easily adjusted models. With exceptional attention to detail and a passion for offering the highest standard of CAD, you will be keen to evolve your career with one of the markets most exciting brands.
