Marine Resources are recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator to be based in Oundle, Northamptonshire. This is a full time permanent position.
The purpose of the role is to maintain site facilities and manufacture steel items for operations for a busy production boat building factory.
2. Responsible for
Carrying out routine and breakdown maintenance activities.
Including; -
a) Trollies and mobile items
b) Painting and cleaning.
Work to comply to H&S requirements and company standards.
3. Manufacture steel items for operations
Including
a) Trollies
b) Racks
c) Jigs
d) Mould tools
e) Sheds
f) Support boat building operations as appropriate
4 Abilities
a) Welding
b) Reading of drawings
c) Basic Fabrication
d) Mechanical dexterity
e) To be fit and able for manual labour
f) To be able to work at height or confined spaces
g) Good verbal communication
h) Working in a tidy and organised manner
i) Working without supervision.
j) Working under time pressure
k) Initiative to resolve problems.
Desirable
a. Scissor lift licence
b. Fork lift licence
