We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Sailing Manager to lead and develop the delivery of sailing activities and events. This is a varied, people-focused role that blends operational leadership, event management, and marketing, all centred around enhancing the member experience and encouraging wider participation on the water.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the sailing school and club programmes, ensuring sessions and events run smoothly, safely, and with maximum enjoyment. From managing race days and training courses to driving promotional activity and growing engagement, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact within a vibrant sailing community.

Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the efficient planning and delivery of the sailing school and club on-water activities.
- Coordinate and deliver the club’s annual programme of on-water activities and open events.
- Act as lead organiser or Race Officer for weekend events where required, ensuring smooth delivery and strong volunteer engagement.
- Develop and deliver effective marketing for sailing school courses and open events across digital, print, and social channels.
- Build visibility and participation through consistent pre-season and in-season promotion.
- Maintain an active online presence, sharing updates, results, and stories to attract returning and new participants.
