What You’ll Do:
As a Sprayer / Painter, you’ll be responsible for preparing and applying finishes across various surfaces of our client’s yachts, ensuring a flawless, professional result. Working alongside the skilled boatbuilding team, your work will be central to the luxury finish expected in this sector. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing surfaces including sanding, masking, and filling
- Applying paints, primers, varnishes, and specialist coatings
- Using spray guns and other painting equipment safely and effectively
- Maintaining paint shops, equipment, and work areas to a high standard
- Conducting quality checks and touch-ups as required
- Collaborating with other trades to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Proven experience as a sprayer/painter, ideally in marine or luxury yacht projects
- Strong understanding of surface preparation, painting techniques, and finishing standards
- Skilled use of spray guns, rollers, brushes, and other painting tools
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, including safe handling of chemicals
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Monday – Friday, 40-hour week (with optional early starts from 06:30)
- Option for a 4-day working week
- Enhanced overtime rates for hours worked beyond 40 per week
- Additional bonus payments for extended hours (45+)
