A Global Design Consultancy is looking for an experienced Draughtsperson, this is a rare opportunity to work in an innovative and agile design studio consulting across three sectors, commercial, defence and leisure! Working on Technical Design on a variety of vessels!
Joining the design team and reporting into the Senior Design Engineer, the Draughtsperson will be a key team member.
Requirements for the Role:
As an individual you will have come from a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Yacht Design or Naval Architecture and ideally have a minimum of 1/2 years experience. You'll be disciplined in your work and able to provide accurate drawings in Autocad/Rhino. Whilst you'll be very much part of a team, being able to work alone would also be a plus. Joining the design team and reporting into the Senior Design Engineer, the Draughtsperson will be a key team member.
Requirements for the Role:
- 2 plus years of experience in the Marine Industry
- Collaboration with design and engineering internally and externally to create CAD drawings for production, 2D & 3D Technical Draughting
- Generation of high quality drawings for external suppliers
- Working with Isometric drawing packages
- Working experience using AutoCAD and Rhino
- Desired experience with Aluminium vessels, commercial vessels would be ideal
- Understanding of Class Classifications
- Enthusiastic design engineer
