The Client Project Manager will play a key role in delivering tailored solutions for our client’s esteemed customers. Primary responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary post-contract point of contact, ensuring a superior experience for clients.
- Providing technical sales guidance and advising on customisation options to meet clients’ specific needs.
- Managing relationships with suppliers for pricing, delivery timelines, and service expectations.
- Coordinating technician checks upon boat arrival and liaising with the warranty team to address transport-related concerns or defects.
- Pre-planning commissioning activities by ensuring the availability of parts and subcontractors.
- Supervising the commissioning process to guarantee on-time and successful delivery of projects.
- Conducting thorough project reviews to ensure cost accuracy and profitability.
- Leading the client handover process, ensuring a smooth and professional transition.
- Supporting the development of customisation packages and pricing revisions to reflect advances in technology.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for the marine industry. Desired qualifications include:
- A background in technical sales with knowledge of systems such as thrusters, stabilisers, power generation, and cellular connectivity.
- Experience as a skipper with familiarity in both power and sail vessels.
- Prior experience in yacht manufacturing or project management is advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and business sense.
- A valid passport for occasional travel within Europe.
