Composite Laminator Location: Portsmouth
We’re working with a well-established composites manufacturer on the South Coast who is looking to bring experienced a Composite Laminator into their growing production team.
This is a hands-on laminating role working with high-quality carbon and glass prepreg components, within a professional production environment that values accuracy, consistency, and pride in workmanship.

This is a hands-on laminating role working with high-quality carbon and glass prepreg components, within a professional production environment that values accuracy, consistency, and pride in workmanship.
The Role: You’ll be involved across a range of composite manufacturing tasks, including:
- Carbon & glass prepreg layup
- Bagging and de-bagging
- Autoclave operations
- Demoulding finished components
- Preparation of mould tools
- Bonding and assembly (useful but not essential)
- Standard hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
- Friday: 08:00–15:30
- 39 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
- Overtime paid:
- Time and a third during the week
- Time and a half on Saturdays
- Time and a third during the week
- Pay: £15 - £21p/h PAYE
- Proven experience as a Composite Laminator
- Strong background in prepreg processes
- Ability to work to drawings, procedures, and quality standards
- Experience from Automotive or Aerospace environments is highly desirable
- Marine or other high-performance composites experience also welcomed
- Competitive salary or hourly rate depending on experience and engagement type
- Consistent workload with high-quality, technically interesting projects
- Well-run facility in a strong South Coast location
