Sea Ventures (UK) Ltd are looking to expand their Aftersales department and are seeking an aftersales assistant to work with our Aftersales manager. The role will involve assisting in all areas of the department from liaising with customers and suppliers, to ordering spares parts, administrative duties and moving yachts and motorboats around the South Coast and within the Marina. The role will also include some practical elements of warranty inspections of boats and basic fault finding/assessments.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist with Jeanneau warranty/after sales for sail and power boats
• Liaise directly with Sea Ventures (UK) Ltd customers and the Jeanneau factory
• Respond to and process spare part enquiries
• Manage stores goods inwards and out
• Maintain warranty and spares digital records
• Visit boats (generally locally) to inspect for warranty purposes
• Yacht and Motor boat deliveries and movements
Essential requirements:
• Practical experience and knowledge of sail and power boats, ideally with a maintenance background
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• IT literate and exceptionally organised
• Ability to multi-task and handle pressure
• Working closely together with colleagues vitally important - we strongly encourage a team environment
• Own transport
For the right candidate without professional practical qualifications we will consider RYA yacht/power training as part of the package.
Salary - Competitive (dependent on experience)
Location - Swanwick Marina
Occasional weekend work
Candidate must live within a reasonable commutable distance and expect occasional travel within UK and possibly abroad.
