Yacht Designer / Production Engineer! - Norfolk
One of the UKs' foremost boatbuilders is currently looking to expand its team with the addition of a Design Engineer.
The design office needs to expand to cope with the ongoing demand of the loyal customer base. Famed for building a very high quality product, this top flight employer is seeking someone with the drive and ambitious to work to the highest standards at all times!
Across site responsibilities for continuous design improvement
On-going workshop interface (based in project office)
On-going responsibilities for value engineering
CAD skills essential
Practical boatbuilding knowledge essential
Design support for Production/ First line of contact for Shop Floor and Boat Board Liaison
As an individual you will be a degree qualified designer/engineer with experience in the design of luxury yachts and experienced in designing semi custom craft for the wider market. A confident leader, you will bring 5+ years of working in teams to the role, showing clear leadership and a strong understanding of the composites market.
Salary for the role will be competitive and come with a number of benefits, plus a chance to regularly engage with the shop floor
