Job description
I’m currently supporting a leading international engineering solutions provider in their search for a Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK within the Coastal Erosion Solutions sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced coastal or marine engineer looking to move into a more strategic, commercially focused position while remaining technically hands-on.
Working closely with the UK leadership team and reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will take ownership of developing and growing the coastal erosion segment nationwide. This is a technically led role, so confidence and credibility within the coastal engineering space are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting engineered coastal erosion and protection solutions across the UK
- Building and developing relationships with consultants, contractors and asset owners
- Expanding the business segment through proactive market engagement
- Challenging traditional approaches and positioning innovative coastal defence solutions
- Delivering CPD presentations and attending client meetings
- Conducting site visits to support installation, provide technical guidance and sign off completed works
- Preparing technical calculations, quotations and tailored solution proposals
- Managing pipeline activity, reporting meetings and forecasting via CRM
- Supporting marketing initiatives and industry engagement
- Representing the business at UK conferences and events
- Travelling across the UK and occasionally internationally for training and customer engagement
