Technical Customer Support - Electrical Systems

We have a permanent position available for Technical Service and Support at a well established and growing Marine Distribution company! They have nationwide coverage in the UK and Ireland.
As part of their plans for growth they are expanding their well-established technical team based in Southampton and you will be key in their passion for supporting their customers.
This full-time Technical Service & Support person will assist all customers with technical enquiries.
A sound technical knowledge of boat equipment including a good understanding of boat electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering would be advantageous.
  • Assist Technical Manager and provide technical support to our Internal Sales Team
  • Provide Customer technical support and answer enquiries via phone, at our trade counter and by email
  • Manage Returns and Warranty Procedures – Test units on site & arrange replacements/repairs as required.
  • Has experience of Electrical & Electronic systems
  • Is able to build positive business relationships with all customers
  • Is experienced in a customer service role
  • Shows excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Is highly organised, competent in multi-tasking, self-motivated and has strong attention to detail
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Demonstrates a flexible attitude and is a good team player
  • Has B2B customer experience
