We're looking for a Motivated Naval Architect to join the team in Tollesbury, Essex. SEA-KIT International Ltd are making waves within the maritime industry - they are a driving force and leading the way within their particular business line.
SEA-KIT International are well-established and highly regarded entity within the Unmanned vessels sector of the maritime industry.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Manage a small team and any subcontracted design.
• Oversee and project manage the quality deliverable for the vessel in design and build
• Hand Calculations
• Class Regulations
Knowledge/Skills Required:
• A skilled and self-motivated naval architect with proven experience in ship design covering Hydrostatic & Structural on alloy and composite vessels up to 24 meters
• Perform technical calculations and investigations
• Use of Rhino, AutoCad and Microsoft Office
• You will be a problem solver and thrive on technical design challenges
• An organised work time planner and understand how to provide timely and accurate technical service
• Have the ability to handling various challenges and deadlines simultaneously
• Assist with the project management of the build covering quality
• You will have a strong understanding and be experienced in class regulations
• You have the ability to work independently and also contribute as an effective and positive member within the Hydrostatics & Statutory team
• You will have excellent communication skills
Qualifications/Documents/Other Requirements:
• Driving Licence
• Passport
• University degree
