As a Senior Naval Architect, you will take on a pivotal role overseeing the design and construction of production motor and superyachts.
Collaborating with a dynamic team of designers, naval architects, and structural engineers, you'll lead and direct the team, ensuring the creation of top-notch designs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver fully resolved 3D hull models, 2D drawings, using complex mathematical and physical models. Provide accompanying documentation in accordance with project briefs, specifications, and regulations.
- Design boats and components with a focus on technical soundness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage the entire build process, from concept to final product delivery.
- Lead and direct a team of designers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct structural calculations in adherence to relevant rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow naval architects and designers, providing technical advice and sharing knowledge of boat building materials.
- Expertise in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
- Experience in production yacht industry
- Ability to lead and direct a team while also taking a hands-on approach to the design process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors or higher degree in Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, or related field
