A leading brand, based here in the UK, seek a Composites engineer to join their accomplished team in developing and evolving the way in which they produce composite parts within their business. From 30m hulls to sun canopies, the brand is always striving to improve across finish, weight, cost and even environmental impact in everything that they do.

Reporting into the Composites Manager, this role will be tasked with the following duties:
- Research and development into novel ways in which to produce (wet lay, infusion, RTM)
- Leadership across the physical rollout of new technology and training both in a hands-on and report-based manner
- Production of documentation for review across all areas of the business

The role itself will see you interact across a number of areas to best optimise your findings. This will include, design, production, procurement and quality, where you'll ensure that you can provide detailed evidence that your work will be benficial to that specific department. Furthermore you will champion business standards through all that you do, ensuring you constantly observe best practise.

As an individual, you will currently or have previously worked as a Composites Engineer, ideally within a boatbuiling environment. Possessing a clear understanding of hands-on composites (layup, materials and resins) you will be able to test and review your own thoughts on how to produce and be able to then educate others around you on your findings. Technical knowledge and people skills are therefore key.

On offer is a chance to join an industry leader and make clear improvements to their production model. You will be rewarded with a great salary package and a host of benefits.
