Due to their period of significant growth, having recently been acquired, we are looking for a Sales/Business Development professional to join one of our trusted clients who specialize in the distribution of some of the top brands in the marine electrical space. We are looking for someone that has the capability to grow with the company, branch into new markets and be a key spokesperson for the brand. 

As a regional role you will be required to do 2-3 days a week on the road/overnight stays, as well as some travel to head office in Plymouth being required. Due to the nature of the company a strong technical knowledge is key to thrive in this role.

A leader in their field with increased presence in new markets this a hugely exciting time to join the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and convert leads into customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to create business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in the business environment.
