Our client has been dedicated to improving the safety of those who find themselves on or near the water for almost 45 years! Designing  and manufacting lifejackets, buoyancy aids and floatation clothing, for our client, there is no compromise when it comes to safety.
 
Our Client is at a crutial point in thier growth. Having has a really succesful few years, our client is looking to capitalise on the profession marine market with your skills set joining the team.
 
As a European company, this can be a remote position, but the ideal candidate will be in or near one of the office locations in either Sweden or UK.
 
As the sales manager for professional safety equipment, your Duties & Responsibilities will include:
 
  • Sales & Marketing responsibility.
  • Introduction and development of the professional safety equipment starting with Europe.
 
Tasks & Targets:
  • Meet and exceed commercial objectives and longer-term business development goals.
  • Develop the Commercial Marine and Maritime side of the business across Europe.
  • Marketing activities in the region for commercial Marine and Maritime safety.
  • Cost controlling within the annual budget.
  • Bi-weekly reporting of sales activities.
  • Annual reporting of regional sales & marketing achievements and planning for the next fiscal year.
  • Constant update of business leads and projects through our CRM tool.
 
For this role you’ll be reporting the Head of business based in the UK.
 
As an individual you will be:
  • Strong sales background in the marine or other similar safety product related industry
  • 5+ years sales experience with proven track record required.
  • Knowledge of business administration
  • Experience negotiating and bidding for contacts.
  • Technical experience in the marine industry desirable
  • Willingness to travel for business (50%)
  • Good presentation skills
  • Languages: English, and another European language is favourable.
