Job description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our clients Refit & Repair team as the Department Co-Ordinator. This full-time role is pivotal to ensuring the efficient operation of the refit and repair services. The successful candidate will provide essential sales and purchasing support, helping deliver a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities As the Refit & Repair Department Co-Ordinator, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Managing all incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, logging leads into the Netsuite system.
  • Converting estimates into sales orders and initiating corresponding projects upon customer approval.
  • Issuing work acceptance and deposit request forms to clients.
  • Processing payments and creating purchase orders for required services and materials.
  • Running cost analysis reports and producing invoices upon project completion.
  • Compiling open project lists to support weekly production meetings.
  • Approving holiday requests and managing shared ownership boat accounts, including issuing associated statements and invoices.
  • Pursuing aged debtors and handling cases of late payments.
  • Maintaining profitability records and supplier pricing data.
  • Supporting team operations with additional administrative and organizational duties.
Qualifications To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Relevant and recent experience within the marine sector or a comparable field.
  • Strong numeracy and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A professional telephone manner and confidence in communicating with clients, boat manufacturers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with SharePoint and Netsuite is advantageous, but training will be provided.
