Product Assurance Engineer (Contract - Inside IR35)

Marine Resources are seeking someone with the above skillset to take on the role of Product Assurance Test Engineer for one of our long standing south coast based clients.

Our client Is a market leader in design & manufacture of leisure marine electronics. With products covering: Digital Marine Cartography, Navigational Displays, Radar, Sonar, Thermal & Visible cameras, instruments, ship control systems and many other leading-edge technology products.

This is a long, stable contract where you will be getting your teeth stuck into a variety of duties from assisting software engineers and physical testing at inhouse facilities as well as getting out on the water regularly.

You will provide test and qualification expertise for project teams engaged in developing hardware/software products and platforms and ensure delivery of a robust test program, maintaining products to meet quality targets.

Qualification/Skills:

• Higher qualifications in an engineering principle (Electrical, Mechanical etc.) or on the job training to an equivalent standard

• Relevant boating and/or navigational experience (eg: RYA accredited)

• Analytical approach to problem solving

• Valid UK Driving license

• PC Literate

• Practically Minded

• The ability to work unsupervised

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
