Parts Specialist

We are looking for a Parts Specialist for a client based in Southampton.

The job involves, but is not limited to, picking and packing marine engine repair and servicing parts ready for dispatch or issue to the engineers and carrying out the associated computer system and document booking processes.

The successful candidate will be serving and advising the customers as well as maintaining a well stocked parts department. The parts person will also work with our service department ensuring engineers are supplied with all the parts they require.

We are specifically looking for someone with previous Marine industry experience

Qualifications and skills:
Previous Parts Retailing experience essential
Previous Marine Industry experience essential
Volvo Penta experience an advantage but not essential.
Computer literate, with experience of a parts stock control/sales system an advantage but not essential as systems training will be given.
Hours of work are 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
