Our client is a premier marine facility nestled in the picturesque landscape of Kent. With a commitment to excellence, they provide top-notch services and facilities to boat owners and enthusiasts.

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and financial operations of the marina office. From managing finances to coordinating office supplies, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations. Additionally, the Office Manager will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and play a key role in training seasonal staff members.

A passion for boats and personal interest in the marine/boating industry is key!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Sage office package to manage financial transactions, including credit control, purchase ledger, and invoicing.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Maintain office efficiency by organizing and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Coordinate office supplies procurement and inventory management.
  • Oversee general administrative tasks such as correspondence, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Train and supervise seasonal staff members in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the office team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to support strategic initiatives and operational goals.
