We’re looking for a Fleet Operations Office Assistant to join a busy team based in Hamble. Our clients have built an enviable reputation offering both bareboat and skippered charters.

As our client’s newest Fleet Operations Office Assistant you’ll be a pivotal member of the team, as such this role will suit someone who is meticulous, extremely organised and works well under pressure to manage multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration for the fleet team, ordering of parts, processing daily jobs carried out; manage the work scheduling.

  • Manage the scheduling of the winter maintenance.

  • Update boat service records daily to include checks, faults, works carried out and parts used.

  • Ensure these are added to the boat owner’s expense account.

  • Manage insurance claims.

  • Liaise with customers (Yacht Owners and Charterers) as required.

  • Manage the yacht return process after charter.

  • Support thr office team with reservations processing and customer enquiries

  • Ensure boats are checked, serviceable and ready for charters and owner trips.

Key Skills

  • Must have the ability to use a PC with email and Microsoft Excel and word as well as manage our maintenance system.

  • Experience of the marine industry and yachts

  • Be able to multitask and administer the paperwork for the fleet team
