INTRODUCTION
Our client is a family owned Marine Sales business – operating within a specialized and relatively small bespoke business sector. In line with there business success, they are looking to recruit an individual to complete the team and support the operation. The role will be varied and encompass tasks that support the business as a whole, it will give the applicant the opportunity to develop both their knowledge and experience within the Marine Industry with a focus on Business Development and Business Administration.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 To take full responsibility for the Marine Sales Business Administration Processes of the Company.
 To ensure a high standard of Customer Order to Delivery Administration Processes are delivered.
 To identify potential improvements within the administration process and escalate to the Directors.
 To collaborate with the Directors in the formulation of periodical product price lists and point of sale material.
 To be responsible for the production of Boat Sale Contracts and subsequent invoicing of all sales.
 To support the Directors with the on-going customer sales and retention contact throughout the duration of sales and post market aftercare.
 To support the Directors with direct sales in events such as exhibitions, shows and other promotional activities.
 To be responsible for the issuing of sub supplier purchase orders and authorization of supplier invoices
 To work alongside the Company Accountant to formulate the analysis of business sales transactions.
 To develop and maintain a robust Customer Database for the various product groups and report back as required to the management.
 To support the Company to maintain and update all aspects of the Companies Social Media, including the production of proposal documents to further promote the Company’s online presence.
 To work alongside the Sales Director to increase listings and to maintain the company Web Site to:
o Increase the number of boats they have under Brokerage and actively promote sales activity Position 
o To carry out the required addition and removal of Brokerage and New Boats to the Web site
 Product Sales Development:
o There is the opportunity for the candidate to undergo training to gain the knowledge of Motor Cruisers and motorized leisure craft offered by the Company, with the potential to grow their own role within the business.
 To always represent the Company in a Professional and Customer Focused manner by:
o Identifying and recommending continuous Improvement in all aspects of the business
o Building a rapport and treating the Customers with respect and courtesy.
o To demonstrate honesty and integrity in all communications be that written or verbal.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
GSCE Mathematics and English Previous proven experience of Business Administration Microsoft Word and Excel Ideally, some Marine Industry experience – although full training can be provided.
