This challenging and exciting position requires good leadership, organisational and man management skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for the base P&L, achieving good customer satisfaction, generation of work, and all activities at this location. Must be able to work to deadlines and sometimes under pressure.
In addition to management skills, they will also require a good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations and all systems relevant to the inland marine industry.
Duties include implementation of safe working practices, compliance with legislation, quoting and scheduling of work, achievement of budgets, control and maintenance of staff and the administration and maintenance of records.
