Marina Manager Opportunity –Isle of Wight
We’re working with a well-established marina that’s looking for a confident, capable, and people-focused Marina Manager (CMM preferred) to take the lead of their day-to-day operations. If you’re hands-on, great with people, and bring experience from the marine or hospitality world, this could be your next move.
You’ll be the steady pair of hands keeping everything running smoothly — from customer service and compliance to finances, HR, and general operations across the site and other residential sites owned by the Marina.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping daily operations running safely and smoothly, maintaining high H&S and company standards.
- Managing the financial side — reconciliations, budgets, payroll, and reporting.
- Looking after the team: rota planning, training, and performance support.
- Overseeing berthing and supporting lock operations for vessels moving in and out.
- Being the first point of contact for customer queries and making sure visitors feel welcome.
- Taking responsibility for site security and coordinating maintenance as needed.
- Getting involved with marketing and promoting the marina’s services.
- Preparing clear reports for senior management.
- Management experience in a marina, leisure, hospitality, or similar environment.
- Strong financial skills — budgets, reconciliations, payroll, reporting.
- Confident handling HR tasks: staffing, scheduling, compliance, and team support.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR/finance systems.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and great problem-solving instincts.
- A valid driving licence.
