One the industry’s leading marine manufacturers, with a global presence and a product range that is used across all sectors of the marine industry are looking for a Head of Sales to come in and define and grow the sales revenue and play a pivotal part of the 5-year business plan.
This rare role will be responsible for all external and internal sales and business development activities in all sectors.
Knowledge of the marine market is essential, the candidate must have previous experience of business development, key account management, global distribution and delivering excellent customer service and value propositions to partners.
Within the role there will be some travel both national and international. Could be based locally to either to Portsmouth or Hull.

Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the order intake and revenue budget
- Oversee the business development activities and delivery of new customer growth plans.
- Grow the distribution network both in the direct channel with the OEM’s and also within the regional teams.
- Define key win themes to win new customers in key market sectors and deliver the 5 year business plan
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the wider company group to deliver sustainable growth and excellent customer service.
- Report regularly to the business current and future pipeline with the wider team
- Conduct and report regular competitor analysis.
