Estates Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Manager to join a dynamic and growing marine property portfolio. This hands-on role supports the Head of Estates in overseeing the day-to-day management of a varied estate, with a strong focus on commercial performance, tenant engagement, and operational efficiency.

A key element of the role is working closely with external managing agents who oversee parts of the property portfolio. You'll act as the internal lead, ensuring consistency across the estate and supporting those agents in delivering high standards of property management. Building strong relationships with these partners, as well as with tenants, landlords, and consultants, will be essential to your success in the role.

There’s also a strategic element to the role, involving the preparation of board reports, overseeing property data systems, and supporting the delivery of capital projects and refurbishments across the estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, landlords, consultant
  • Conduct negotiations for lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews
  • Administer service charges and minimise risk exposure
  • Assist in Board report preparation, KPI tracking, and evaluating property data systems
  • Collaborate with maintenance, marketing agents, and oversee capex/refurbishment project
  • Produce property records, dilapidation schedules, and handle tenant issue
  • Travel across marina sites using company vehicles to conduct surveys/tasks
  • Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company standards
The role involves regular site visits across the group’s marinas and commercial properties, so a valid UK driving licence is essential.
