This is a full time permanent position based in Poole, Dorset.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing, modifying, and maintaining electrical systems across a wide range of vessels.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults, as well as testing and commissioning new systems.
- Using technical drawings, OEM manuals, and engineering data to get the job done right.
- Getting hands-on with safe vessel movement and equipment handling.
- Playing an active role in continuous improvement and new ways of working.
- Taking part in sea trials and occasional vessel delivery.
- Providing out-of-hours standby cover when needed – no two weeks are ever the same.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified or time-served Marine Electrician (or similar).
- Has hands-on experience with electrical installation, diagnostics, and maintenance on vessels.
- Enjoys variety – from workshop builds to sea trials.
- Is detail-focused and confident with problem-solving.
- Works well in a team and takes pride in doing things safely and to a high standard.
- Is flexible and happy to support occasional emergency/standby work.
