Are you a skilled Marine Electrician who loves variety and problem-solving? This role will see you working hands-on with a fleet of specialist vessels – everything from brand new builds through to complex refits and repairs. One day you could be installing and commissioning electrical systems, the next you could be out on sea trials making sure everything performs exactly as it should.

This is a full time permanent position based in Poole, Dorset.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing, modifying, and maintaining electrical systems across a wide range of vessels.

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults, as well as testing and commissioning new systems.

  • Using technical drawings, OEM manuals, and engineering data to get the job done right.

  • Getting hands-on with safe vessel movement and equipment handling.

  • Playing an active role in continuous improvement and new ways of working.

  • Taking part in sea trials and occasional vessel delivery.

  • Providing out-of-hours standby cover when needed – no two weeks are ever the same.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified or time-served Marine Electrician (or similar).

  • Has hands-on experience with electrical installation, diagnostics, and maintenance on vessels.

  • Enjoys variety – from workshop builds to sea trials.

  • Is detail-focused and confident with problem-solving.

  • Works well in a team and takes pride in doing things safely and to a high standard.

  • Is flexible and happy to support occasional emergency/standby work.
