One of the leading yacht builders in the UK have an opening for an Electronics Systems Technician!

If you have experience in AV, Ethernet and other electronic systems please read on.

This is a permanent full time position based in Poole!

Example responsibilities include:
  • Taking ownership of the AV, Ethernet, Navigation and Lighting systems, ensuring that the installations are correct and systems work as per the design.
  • Working as part of a test team to ensure systems are set up as early as possible in the build and that the quality of the installations is improved.
  • Liaising with the Design team to keep up to date with new systems and with any changes made by manufacturers (i.e. software updates). 
  • Ensuring all documentation relating to operations of boats electronic equipment is up to date and included with the boat manuals.

To be considered for the role you should:
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Have sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP & Intranet software. 
  • Be able to work individually and as a team to complete system setups within the production timescales.
