Divisional Manager - Marine Equipment (Hybrid) 

Are you ready to chart a course to success in the dynamic marine industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Equipment Divisional Manager to join our client's team. As a key player in the marine equipment division, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing a dedicated team, and contributing to the overall success of the division.

Position Complexity and Scope:
  • Understand procedures and ISO9001 requirements
  • P&L management
  • Leadership of staff 
  • Full responsibility for sales via direct and indirect reports 
  • Independent decisions on pricing and sales strategy
  • Shared decisions on budgets, product portfolio, advertising, promotional shows & materials, and stock management
Key Responsibilies.
  • Sales Management: Ensure professional management of the sales team to achieve individual and divisional targets. Provide resources, training, and portfolio understanding to the sales team.
  • Cross-Division Collaboration: Liaise with other sales managers and area sales managers to maximize opportunities across the company's customer base.
  • Budgets: Set yearly budgets and targets for sustained divisional growth.
  • P&L Responsibility: Achieve margin expectations throughout the financial year.
  • Market Intelligence: Deliver regular market intelligence, customer behaviour insights, and growth anticipation to the purchasing team.
  • Customer Service: Handle inquiries from customers, dealers, and internal staff with knowledgeable and timely responses.
  • Field Sales Support: Maintain professional contact with customers through regular field visits (minimum of 3 days a week).
  • Sales Forecasting: Produce timely and accurate sales forecasts for the next 12 months on a monthly basis.
  • Knowledge and Skills:Excellent communication, administrative, and organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
