Our client has a long history in the superyacht and small boat world, providing bespoke inflatable and foam products.  Servicing the full range of private, commercial, and military customers.  As part of a larger global group of companies the opportunity to expand into a greater worldwide market is being realized and on offer. We are searching for someone to embrace an all-encompassing approach to managing the client through its next natural growth step.  This leader will be supported by the US-based corporate office and the other company's individual company leaders.  We are looking for someone who can come in and see what we “CAN BE” rather than what we are today and drive that evolution. As part of that you will be given the autonomy to drive forward your ideas while keeping to the company ethos and working with integrity. 

The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing the overall operations from a D to C suite level with responsibilities including but not limited to:- 

  • Define personnel needs within the business and participate in the recruiting and hiring process of those roles.

  • Manage the P&L to ensure we are on budget and profitable.

  • Ensure Staff Welfare, providing a safe and stable working environment.

  • Drive the go-to-market strategy: B2B, B2C and OEM

  • Participate in Marketing Strategy

  • Define and drive forward the sales strategy both in the UK and abroad. 

  • Lean into and ensure the team understands and lives the company's group values

  • Define the expected first-time right and world-class quality.

  • Be vigilant in our accounting processes to ensure adequate and predictable cash flow.

  • Reporting to the Managing Director or CEO President.

  • Participate with the other Group business leaders to influence te overall strategy on a 'local' and Worldwide level.
