We are looking for Boat Cleaners/Boat Detailers to assist in the production of luxury yachts based in Poole.
A background in GRP would be advantageous however not essential. This role would suit someone who is used to manual work and working to high quality standards.
You must be willing to clean the boat, complete final detailing, and undertake physical work. You must have a keen eye to spot any imperfections in finished surfaces , hard-working and punctual.
Responsibilities include:
- Loading and packing of heavy kit on-board
- Manual handling
- Cleaning engine rooms
- Cleaning and dressing of cabins
- Wrapping boats for transportation
- General workshop housekeeping duties
- Cleaning of the boats
You will be taught:
Gel coat repairs
Granite and Stone repairs
Glass Polishing
GRP/Gelcoat Polishing
Stainless steel polishing
Silicone Sealing Work
Lacquer rework/repairs
Paint Spray work off the gun
Fine detailing and Cleaning
Teak deck detailing and cleaning.
This is a long temporary position and the pay rate is starting at £8.92. The working hours are 7 - 3:30pm
