We are recruiting for a Field Sales executive for a South Coast Chandlery chain, focussing on selling the products (including paint, antifoul and sikaflex) of their trusted coating solutions partner brand into the marine industry. Dealing with accounts from Brixham to Chichester.
The right candidate will have good marine knowledge and ideally worked with similar products “hands-on” in the past. Responsible for driving sales and fostering relationships with new and existing customers this role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, and delivering solutions that meet those needs. You need to be able to work under your own initiative with the support of the head office team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular customer visits to present product offerings, address inquiries, and provide technical support.
- Provide customers with product demonstrations, technical advice, and training to ensure optimal usage of products
- Experience in sales desirable - preferably within the marine or related industry.
- Understanding of marine products, particularly coatings and paints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
