Area Sales Manager - Marine Products (North) - Remote 

Are you passionate about the marine industry and ready to represent a well-known Engine brand with professionalism and integrity? Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our marine business and maintaining strong relationships with our established dealer network.

Job Purpose:

  • Representing the Company and the brand with professionalism and integrity.
  • Visiting our established dealer network to maintain and strengthen relationships.
  • Seek out new sales opportunities and business partnerships for Marine products.
  • Be proactive in the development of new opportunities within the marine industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Visits
  • Visit multiple Marine Dealers each day, planning efficient routes to minimize travel.
  • Build strong relationships with Dealers to deliver a Customer-Centric influence and our brand's message.
  • Discuss the Dealer's requirements, promote new products, and advise on current stock.
  • Ensure Dealers represent the brand correctly and work with the Dealer Development area to enhance their dealerships.
Boat Builder Visits:
  • Identify new opportunities with both Yamaha and non-Yamaha Boat Builders to grow the Marine business.
  • Create new partnerships and business opportunities.
Dealer Retail Sales:
  • Review dealer target achievements to support company wholesale and market share budget objectives.
  • Create weekly reports on the company and the Marine market, taking necessary actions and following up on outcomes.
  • Chase further sales leads and make dealer calls in relevance to reports.
Network Reviews and Gaps:
  • Regularly review and analyze the network to identify open points and opportunities for the Marine business.
  • Address these opportunities by expanding into the market.
Attend Regular Sales Meetings:
  • Attend regular sales meetings at the Head office to review Marine business strategies for achieving targets.
  • Use these opportunities to foster positive relationships with office staff.
