Job description

An established marine engineering company is seeking an experienced Administrator to support its busy operations and project teams. The role is varied and fast-paced, providing key administrative support across all areas of the business — from general office coordination to project documentation and supplier liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and office support

  • Manage correspondence, documentation, and filing systems

  • Assist with project coordination and scheduling

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients

  • Support procurement, invoicing, and internal reporting

  • Maintain databases and ensure accurate record-keeping

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous administration experience in a technical, construction, or marine environment preferred

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Positive, proactive attitude and team-focused approach
