Technical Service Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Technical Service Manager to provide exceptional service and support to both end customers and trade clients. This role is integral to assisting with a variety of technical enquiries, ranging from the specification and installation of new marine products to troubleshooting and repairing older models.

You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience throughout their entire journey, ensuring high levels of satisfaction with every interaction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about continuous improvement and will collaborate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities 
  • To lead the technical support team of 4/5 engineers
  • To be always personable / approachable / available to customers and colleagues
  • To be a team player – demonstrating the character, competency, and ability to connect with team members to drive successful outcomes.
  • Have knowledge of the marine industry and marine products both in application and the technical operation. (Training can be provided for areas that need enhanced knowledge).
  • Deal with day to day technical enquiries via phone, email and internal
  • Schedule engineer attendance in the field.
  • Working with other key functions of the business to improve process and availability of information for enhanced customer experience.
This role is predominantly office based with occasional requirement for local and international travel.
