We are looking for a Stores Assistant to support our client's Stores Manager. Aim to increase efficiency for our busy new boat commissioning, aftersales, service and repair business based in Southampton.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Receive and process stores general stock (pick, unload, label, store).
• Receive purchased parts and equipment for Spare Parts and Aftersales, notify team member and store.
• Fulfil parts and consumables requirements for Works Orders prior to service & repair work commencing.
• Collecting urgent parts from local suppliers as and when needed.
• Perform inventory controls, ensuring audit accuracy.
• Operate and maintain stores equipment, including tool inventory.
• Assisting with booking system for van fleet and launch.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area, to include our fleet of vans and workshops.
• Any other duties which may be required by to enable the smooth running of the business.

Skills required:
• Recent and relevant experience in stores or a warehouse, ideally within the marine industry.
• Good IT skills, particularly inventory software such as Sage 50, Netsuite and Excel.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Must be able to safely handle up to 25kgs weight.
• Current forklift license.
• Current, clean driving license.
• Upbeat and energetic.
• Hard working team player.
