Landau Marine have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Vapour Blaster & Paint Sprayer to work primarily at their site in Marchwood, Southampton and on occasion at their other base in Swanwick.

Landau Marine undertake all manner of vapour blasting and airless spray painting work, from vessel hulls in GRP and steel, to construction materials and most things in between, always with a focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

This role requires someone who is methodical, process driven, has great attention to detail and excellent communication skills with a passion for the industry and ‘getting things done’.

Responsibilities

• Preparing parts for painting
• Operating and maintaining vapour blasting and airless spray painting equipment
• Practising good housekeeping - including correct paint storage and maintaining clear records
• Maintaining stock levels
• Reviewing work practices and suggesting ways to reduce lead times and costs
• General site maintenance including management and disposal of waste

Experience

• Proven experience in industrial airless spraying
• Experience of vapour blasting
• Ability to prioritise workload when up against deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
• Valid driving licence
• Valid FLT licence desirable but training may be available to the right candidate
