We are looking for a yacht broker to join a highly experienced team within a Brokerage firm based within the Hamble/Swanwick area. This vital role is key as the business has ambitious plans to expand over the coming years and the investment/infrastructure to do so.  
For over 30 years the company have followed the ethos to put the customer first and pride themselves on the sales and customer service journey comes with each boat purchase. The impact of that is high with customers returning to purchase their boats again and again and the reputation of the brokerage is high within the industry.
As such we are looking for someone that has the passion and drive to succeed BUT not at the coast of strong customer service and strong ethics. You will Ideally have a track record in yacht/motorboat sales however we will also look outside of the industry at associated sales history.
This role offers a highly competitive salary base salary above the norm plus the associated sales bonus with office over looking the water

Job Accountabilities:
  • To execute on the sales targets from the business strategy
  • To build strong loyalty, with all clients.
  • Ensure that at every touch point, the client’s journey is a great experience for them, fully appreciating and delivering the value for money they expect from the brokerage.
  • Ensure an efficient and disciplined approach to sales with strong completion techniques
  • Fully utilise the CRM system to record accurately any interactions and agreements with clients
  • Keep marketing abreast of feedback from clients and the industry ‘word on the street’ to maximise the use of marketing campaigns
  • Input into pricing reviews with useful and evidence-based information
  • Maintain a professional and engaging approach with all clients, suppliers and manufacturers
 
Experience required:
  • Strong sales experience (not necessarily in the boat industry) and knowledge of the sales process from enquiry/lead generation, lead qualification, conversion, sales journey, handling resistance, closure of sale and account management.
  • Strong interest in boats and boating
  • IT proficient with CRM content management
