Our client based in Poole, a leading brand in the luxury marine industry is looking to add to their team in the Quality team

This role is a ongoing long term temporary role.

Purpose of Role:
Support the business compliance with our Quality system through a structured and consistent implementation, audit and reporting process. Support the Quality team in developing and refining all aspects of the Quality system to ensure it is robust, fit for purpose and assists our product to be delivered on time in full and to Quality.
Support the efficient manufacture of our products by understanding and resolving the root causes of issues that lead to customer dissatisfaction and loss of reputation.

Key Responsibilities are to:
• Act as a gatekeeper for all Quality system documentation used by the designated line. Documentation is to be gathered in accordance with the structured stage handover audit schedule, all requirements of the stage handover are to be fulfilled. The paperwork is to be passed directly to the Quality office.
• Undertake inspections of boats under construction in accordance with the Critical Signoff requirements and support with Quality, functional & dimensional checks as specified. Ensure the process is audited in accordance with the stage handover process and all data is passed directly to the Quality office.
• Support weekly CIP meetings for the designated area. Facilitate the workflow of CIP issues via the QIP system by providing support on how the system works to people assigned responsibility for resolving the issues. Drive and follow up all issues within the QIP system for the designated production area acting as a link between departments to facilitate support and attention for issues. Help manage issues within the QIP system to closure.
• From the information reviewed daily, prioritize the areas of most concern. Analyze their root causes and, with the approval of Quality management, facilitate their resolution. This may involve working with all departments and all levels and may include planning, creating and implementing documentation, systems, processes, strategies or training to ensure that the underlining causes of product failure and customer dissatisfaction are eradicated.
• Identify and support/develop/train areas that are found to be non-compliant with our Quality System. Support and help maintain compliance in areas that are already compliant.
• Undertake specifically designated special projects, as approved by the Quality Management specifically focused around Quality improvement activities.
