Marine Resources are seeking an experienced Production Manager to play a key role in the build of high end vessels.
This role will involve day-to-day management and leadership of the production team to achieve the budgeted production boat volumes and maintain levels of efficiency.
Experience within a furniture/joinery environment, CNC and or finishing/paint alongside knowledge of LEAN practices working with 5s/7s is highly desireable.
It will also require developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing strategies for improved performance in all manufacturing KPIs and ensuring on-time completion of the boat to the correct specification and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the production team.
- Set and achieve budgeted production volumes, while efficiently managing resources.
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing strategies to improve performance in manufacturing KPIs.
- Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and product specifications.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the production team.
- Identify and address production issues, implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and supply chain, to support production requirements.
- Effectively manage and allocate resources to meet production targets.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and quality.
- Provide training, mentorship, and motivation to production staff to maximize their potential.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive manufacturing excellence.
