Production CAD Technician

Key Hard Skills:
  • Proficiency in AlphaCam CAD/CAM Software
  • Familiarity with Solidworks CAD software (beneficial)
  • Understanding of drawing and document control procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical requirements and specifications

Responsibilities:
  • Assist design engineers in meeting production requirements by developing basic drawings, cut files, and documentation.
  • Liaise with various teams including engineering, purchasing, and production to ensure smooth product development and manufacture.
  • Regularly interact with production, engineering, and purchasing personnel to uphold reliability, quality, and functionality standards.
  • Maintain accurate technical drawings and documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 QMS accreditation.
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplined team to develop solutions meeting production, technical, and commercial requirements.

Competencies and Experience:
  • Experience with AlphaCam CAD/CAM Software preferred; similar CAD/CAM software experience considered.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus.
