Parts, Sales & Service Advisor

Marine Resources are proud to be supporting our client in their search for their newest Parts, Sales & Service Advisor. 

Our client is not only one of the most respected yacht brokerages, but also offer a full service of the highest level of customer care to their clients.  

To be successful in this role you must have an understanding of marine sector, ideally with technical knowledge of both sail/motor boats.  

Key Responsibilities 
  • Spare parts service – identifying parts, liaising with suppliers and OEM factories to obtain technical specifications, prices and availability. 
  • Sending quotations, raising pro-forma invoices, taking payments, purchasing parts via factory intranet systems.  
  • Arranging shipping and/or posting as required, consolidating when necessary and ensuring the most cost-effective method is used. 
  • Service work – offering a full range of general maintenance services including engine servicing, anti-fouling, boat cleaning and canvas work replacement. 
  • Sending estimates, raising purchase orders, booking sub-contractors and preparing invoices.  
  • Attendance Southampton boat show  
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with general enquiries. 
If you have recent and relevant marine industry (or similar) experience, excellent admin skills, professional telephone manner, great customer service and Good sense of humour apply today!
