A Global Design Consultancy is looking for an experienced Naval Architect, this is a rare opportunity to work in an innovative and agile design studio consulting across three sectors, commercial, defence and leisure! Working on Technical Design on a variety of vessels, with a fantastic team in a brand new office set up. (With Gym!)

Requirements for the Role:
  • 4 plus years of experience as a Naval Architecture (although please apply if you have less as the right attitude goes a long way)
  • Technical hand calculations, weight, stability, performance, structures etc
  • Collaboration with design and engineering internally and externally to create CAD drawings for production, 2D & 3D.
  • Generation of high quality drawings for external suppliers
  • Working experience using AutoCAD and Rhino
  • Desired experience with Aluminium vessels, commercial vessels would be ideal.
  • Understanding of Class Classifications
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and detail orientated.

As an individual you will have come from a degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Yacht Design and ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ experience. You'll be disciplined in your work and able to provide accurate drawings in AutoCAD/Rhino.
