Marine Engineer – Gosport
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

I’m working with a busy marine service provider in the Gosport area, looking for an experienced Marine Engineer to join their hands-on team. You’ll be working on a variety of prestige yachts and motorboats up to 40m, helping to maintain, repair, and refit vessels to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on yachts and motorboats
  
  
• Diagnosing and repairing engines, systems, and onboard equipment
  
  
• Assisting with refit projects, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  
  
• Working closely with other engineers, shipwrights, and the team to deliver high-quality service
  
  
• Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly
  
  

The ideal candidate:

• Strong marine engineering background (leisure yachts/motorboats)
  
  
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems
  
  
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  
  
• Strong communication and teamworking abilities
  
  
• Relevant marine engineering qualifications/certifications preferred
  
  
• On-site availability in Gosport/Swanwick
