Marine Resources are recruiting for a number of Marine Engineers/Fitters for a full time permanent position in Norfolk.
You will be responsible for meeting the exacting deadlines required to complete each boat on time for delivery to its new owners. Your work will be varied, including everything from fitting various components across a wide range of systems in our world-class yachts, from hydraulics to air conditioning, from engine systems to generators, fuel, heating, waste and water cooling water systems.
Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- High standard of metal fabrication skills and knowledge of hydraulics
- High standard of plumbing and gas knowledge
- Ability to operate machinery and hand tools correctly and safely
- Good understanding of marine technologies
- Ability to work on own initiative and also plan work with other trades
- Practical problem-solving abilities with a high standard of finish
