We’re recruiting a Marina Operative on behalf of one of the UK’s leading marina groups. This role offers a great blend of practical marina duties and customer interaction, set in a busy, professional boating environment where no two days are the same. Full training is provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone keen to build long-term skills and experience within the marine sector.
The position is rota-based and will include a mix of weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, evenings, and occasional night shifts.

- Supporting day-to-day marina operations
- Providing a high standard of customer service to berth holders and visitors
- Working both outdoors and indoors in a fast-paced marine environment
- Assisting the wider marina team to ensure safe, efficient operations
- Friendly, approachable, and confident dealing with customers
- Reliable, adaptable, and positive in their approach to work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- A strong team player who can also work independently
- Confident using basic computer systems
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and nights
- In possession of a full UK driving licence
